Catholic student protests are ignored.

University:  “The show supports the Catholic teaching on the dignity of the human person.”

VIDEO News Story.

As we here at FAA have reported previously, the dignity of the human person is an erroneous teaching from Vatican II.

‘What is dignity? According to Catholic tradition, man derives dignity from his perfection, i.e, from his knowledge of the truth and his acquisition of the good.  Man is worthy of respect in accordance with his intention to obey God, not in accordance with his errors, which will inevitably lead to sin. When Eve the first sinner succumbed, she said, “The serpent deceived me.” Her sin and that of Adam led to the downfall of human dignity, from which we have suffered ever since.’  Source:  ‘Open Letter To Confused Catholics.’….Archbishop Lefebvre

    Hey Nina,
Thanks for posting that the Vatican is doing something about this. Good to hear.
It’s unfortunate that there are Catholic university officials who have blatant disregard for the clear teaching of the Church. But, unfortunately, this is nothing new. Throughout Church history people with even more official positions within the Church have disregarded doctrine in favor of their own agendas. And, yes, they’ll even try to justify their position with Sacred Scripture, encyclicals, etc.
But, as I’m sure you’re aware, that doesn’t mean Sacred Scripture or the encyclicals are, themselves, erroneous.
More specifically, Dignitatis Humanae does not contradict Quas primas or whatever Michael Davies might be trying to suggest.
As for the Lefebvre quote in this article; is he suggesting that humanity has no dignity at all? Perhaps he’s not. Otherwise, he must be using the word differently than the Baltimore Catechism uses it.
Obviously, a drag queen’s actions are undignified and should not be celebrated. And clearly the Vatican holds this position.
    Thanks again for the news.

    • Kory, what will it take for you to see that there is a crisis in the Catholic Church? You wrote: “This is nothing new.” Please provide readers with a time period prior to Vatican II in which Catholics were so consistently scandalized by other Catholics? I should make a list for you: priest sex abuse, bancruptcies of Dioceses, Churches closing, nuns who favor abortion, Catholics who favor abortion, LGBT agitators … it goes on and on! Nina
